CarveChic is incredibly easy to use. Most of our customers tell us it takes them less than 30 minutes to get their printer out of the box, plug it in, set it up, AND finish their first print! The web interface, point-and-click software, and simple hardware (just one button) make it easy to use your laser — no previous experience needed.

Your CarveChic comes with a detailed manual to help you learn to use it easily and quickly. We’re always here to help if you have a question. We’ve seen incredible creativity from people ranging from preschool students to great-grandparents. We have no doubt you’ll create amazing things!

You can import designs into CarveChic's provided software from your favorite software, handwritten or drawn, choose designs from the CarveChic catalog, or use advanced tools in the CarveChic app to create from scratch. Then, select
your material—CarveChic works with hundreds of materials! Enter the corresponding power and speed, and once everything is set up, aligned, and ready, just click the start button and watch your ideas come to life!

CarveChic Pro and Plus can cut wood, fabric, leather, paper, acrylic, Delrin, polyester film, rubber, Corian, food, and more. CarveChic Pro and Plus can also engrave all these materials, as well as glass, coated metals, marble, anodized aluminum, titanium, some phones, tablets, laptops, and more.

The sound level varies between lasers, but generally varies from a low rumble to a loud vacuum. CarveChic changes the fan speed based on the operation being performed, so the sound may change during your print. You can also opt for slower cutting rates to keep the fan noise down.

What are the optional Air Filters?
As it works, your CarveChic creates a typically small amount of smoke and fumes that needs to be vented. Venting to a nearby window or door is easy with the included ventilation hose, but we know that’s not possible for everyone – you may be creating somewhere without easy ventilation.
